Established under Public Private Partnership Projects of
German Government via (GTZ) Gmbh, SIEMENS Ltd. & IAG Automation(P) Ltd.

It is for the first time that GTZ has joined hands with a private enterprise (IAG Automation (P) Ltd.) to setup an industrial training centre in India.
The Centre is an autonomous organization registered with Registrar of Societies, Haryana under the Societies Registration Act 1860. It is managed by a Governing Council. Director is the executive head of the centre.
The Centre has excellent infrastructure in terms of sophisticated laboratories in the field of Industrial Automation Controls, Mechatronics and Production enabling it to deliver quality and excellent industrial training in various areas to industrial professionals, engineering students and job seekers. It has qualified and experienced faculty with good industrial exposure for conducting programs to meet the increasing needs in the field of industrial training through innovative methodologies and new tools, essential to give the centre a competitive edge.
The emphasis of IATC is on offering a wide range of high quality innovative industrial training programs with particular focus on automation related industry and also other emerging technologies. The target group envisaged covers all levels of working professionals from industry, faculty, staff and students of engineering institutions and polytechnics and community covering women, backward and disadvantaged strata of society. In terms of agreement with GTZ, 50% of the seats for community programs are reserved for the above section of society. IATC has several initiatives in the pipeline to ensure achievement of its stated objectives. In its endeavour to play a significant role in the national and eventually international arena, it would foster professional, managerial and technical development and integrate local resources to improve the skills of managers at all levels and the working professionals from industry. The basic premise of training would be to enable the trainees to become capable of performing the role of internal “agents of change” at the end of the industrial training. While the technical skills up-gradation programs would be centre-based, the management programs could be conducted as in-house, or location specific for a cluster of local industry.
The activities of the centre are undertaken with the optimism that training at IATC would be a bench mark in engineering profession and technical education, and that those trained here would have a bright future for employment in industry and other institutions on the basis of their being enabled to take on responsibility, apply technical skills and make sound decisions.
Excelling and standing out to become the top-tier amongst the community of industrial training organizations, scholars and practitioners; with focus on offering technology leveraged innovative products and services internationally to industry, degree/diploma students, job seekers etc.
