With a view to strengthen and increase both the in-class as well as out-of-class interactivity with the industry, the Centre has plans to create new knowledge via research. This approach would be an integral part of the Centre’s education and training programmes towards continued renewal of the profession. To this end, it is proposed to undertake joint research so as to provide solutions to the problems of the industry. Initially, only the problems of the Automation industry would be taken up. More areas would be added in due course.
